Well, Im back playing GW after an extended absence (WoW) As of right now, im pretty much lost as far as farming goes, i left soon after Nightfall was released and everything is different. Dont get me wrong, there are places in which i can still go and farm decently, but something seems to be lacking in the profit department. I was starting to get my Necro 55 set up for UW before i left. I finished it recently, and even using some of the guides i seem to...
1. lack the player skill to do so (which i doubt

)
2. cant seem to grasp the basic concepts of what im doing wrong
or 3. Maybe i just have the wrong skills/equipment for said farming

My guild is pretty much non existent, but because its almost a full hall, i havnt left. Therefor i can not really rely on guildies for support and help. I was wondering if someone who is either skilled in alot of different types of solo farming, or perhaps just in soloing UW could help me out and/or take me under there wing so to speak. I would be deeply grateful to them. I would rather you got ahold of me in game.. Big Mutt.. as to not flood the thread with question apon question or answers for that matter, But where ever and when ever you do get ahold of me, i thank you for your time.

Tbh, solo farming is profitable anymore, well, compared to what you can do in PuGs now.
Look up UW speed clears, make a char, level him up, and start running them with PuGs.
Can complete whole of UW in around 15-30 minutes, depedning on you and your groups skill/exp.
Make good gold doing this and get to open the end chest.

What the guy above me said,im against UW SC because it has destroyed ecto prices,but its the best form of quick-cash making.

By speed clear do you just mean the one area, or all of UW because i seriously doubt you can clear UW to chest in 15 minutes, even the fastest teams in FoW take 45+

All of UW. A great team can hit 15 or quicker, a good team in 15-25 minutes, and a decent team in 20-35 minutes.

If you still don't believe it can be done...maybe you should look check this forum more often.

It is done by having people solo or do quests in small groups using shadow form to negate damage. Fastest UW SC is about 11 minutes last I heard.

UW could be done in 15 think it is a bit more now , fow is indeed 30 to 60 minutes I heard of DOA clears around that time frame aswell but for argument sake lets say double these times.

Overall solo farming is only good for basic self needs or festival items(exception aside).

Team / Pug farming is the way to go at this point, be preparred to spend a bit though to meet equipment and skill requirments if you join a good team.

Places to go are urgoz(hard to pug) Deep (think team build and tactics are under rethinking after last update, DOA plenty of people not sure how pugable it is at the moment and pretty much any dungeon in GWEN some PUG'ed mostly friends, guild , alliance runs.

Most though I would suggest getting a active guild or friends group together and it will come on it's own.PM me for all I care my guilds and alliance do alot of the above mentioned if you are willign to listen and learn I am sure we can get you on going on some of thoose runs.

FoW HM: 16-30 mins 16 being the record
DoA HM: 1hr4-2hrs 1hr4 being the record.

So depend on efficiency, DoA SC can give you the biggest profit while UW/FoW have the highest potential for sick drops (eternal blade and OB edge respectively.)

So you can guarantee yourself a bunch of gems doing 1 full DOA SC or take the chance in UW/FoW for ectos/shards and rare wep drops.

For most people UW or FoW would actually be more profitable, since the builds for DoA SC aren't really PuGable. You need to work together fairly well with your team to not die.
